What is Distance Learning?
When a student completes college coursework or gets a college degree away from an actual school campus, it is usually called distance learning. Distance learning is a general term for many types of learning, including online classes and courses available through the mail, also called correspondence courses. Most college distance learning programs are connected to traditional colleges and universities.
